In light of the paradox of today's events beginning with a celebration of camaraderie and goodwill which ended in destruction and death, Christ Church will be holding a simple service of prayer tomorrow evening, Tuesday, April 16 at 7:00p.m.
As a community of faith, when tragedy is so present in our lives, we are reminded that what the world needs is kindness. And so we are invited, as a colleague reminded me today, to pray for the world, to pray that our fear and sadness may heal and to pray that we will have the courage to be compassionate and gentle.
